Day 200: Pigeon concerto...

Day 200: ...in six movements

A day where we are still trying to make sense of the senselessness in many parts of the world, and also Saturday. Much in the music line today. Clarinet rehearsal first up and morning tea duty. No time to make muffins today so a quick stop at the bakery.

A stopover later for the weekly sax gig at our little cafe and then onto a special tai chi demonstration at a local fete...arrived at the appointed time only to find the appointed time had been brought forward 45 minutes...well, I got to do a little bit of demonstration. Just a little.

Heading back home before out again for tonight's QSO concert which I wasn't supposed to be at because I was supposed to be in Canada at a conference but 'research priorities'...and I'm not one of them...oh well, in another life...

And in between movements at the concert hall, there was the Stafford by-election to keep an eye on too.

In what seemed like a short breather in this hectic day, around sunset one of the local crested pigeons decided to play the power lines as bass...or so it seemed, with such a focus on music today at least.

There was just sufficient pause between flights as to imagine some serious contemplation on the part of this very cool bass pigeon...

Reprise...

A much needed distraction.
