Day 310 2015: Running overtime...

Day 310: ...must be the weather

A cracker of a storm overnight, one of those claps of thunder that wakes you from whatever place you had just reached sleepwise. And the lightning...about 20mm in the end.

It is blossom time everywhere. Out the front, a star jasmine bush is blooming away with no end in sight it seems. But this morning I noticed that the native frangipani tree is *still* flowering away. Usually it lasts for about five days in September, usually when I'm away at a conference. Usually, I miss the flowers.

But not today. After the rain, I noticed the flowers are all over the place and with a little adjustment of the aperture and exposure, we can have a little fun with the subject.

Still hanging around

Lots of raindrops and rose petals and new 'regular' frangipani leaves as well. But it was the frangipani flowers that needed to be caught while they're still around.
