Day 163 2016: Let the 'festivities' begin...

Day 163: ...well, not actually 'festivities'

But the show must get going, and it did. In typically formal fashion including greetings from the Ambassador via the Counsellor, Politics. As you do. 

Interesting day of listening to papers delivered (always interesting to see just what it is about Australia that Japanese researchers like to investigate--many and varied is the short version--) and then to a reception including finger food and some Australian wine, naturally.
